Hakkı Tarhan is a Mechanical Engineer (Istanbul Technical University) and MBA graduate (Istanbul Bilgi University), with roots in automation and robotics, having started his career as a Robotics Cell Design Engineer before joining 3M. At 3M, he progressively grew his leadership across Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions — ultimately leading two factories in Turkey as Plant Manager. He then moved to Switzerland to take on EMEA Outsourced Manufacturing Operations Leader role, followed by end-to-end Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership for Automotive & Aerospace businesses across Europe. Today, Hakkı leads Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations for 3M’s Automotive Thermal Management portfolio, with operations spanning China, India, Korea, Japan, Poland, US, Mexico, and Brazil. Hakkı brings extensive end-to-end supply chain expertise, with a strong ability to work closely with Commercial and R&D teams to bring new products to market, execute manufacturing footprint & technology advancement strategies, and drive capital investments. Hakkı thrives at the intersection of innovation and efficiency, with a deep passion for automation and continuous improvement.
