Hugo Bordg is Transformation Lead at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where he drives Lean transformation across the company's global manufacturing network of 14 production sites. At Ferring's largest aseptic site in Germany, he led a 100-person production organisation through a transformation that delivered a 50% capacity increase and €10M in favourable cost performance. Prior to this, he held roles across the full span of manufacturing operations at Ferring, from visual inspection leadership and site-level Lean deployment to global strategy execution and operational excellence. Before joining Ferring, he worked at Merck KGaA conducting diagnostics on biotech production operations using McKinsey methodologies. Hugo holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon, with coursework at EPFL and HEC Lausanne in corporate strategy and finance. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
